We generally tend to use the same words over and over in our everyday lives and conversations. Why not add some random English words to your vocabulary?

The practice of withholding knowledge, or deliberately preventing the facts or full details to be known to the public.

Take action or rise up against an established government or authority.

No, not the drug! It’s an overwhelming feeling of great happiness or joyful excitement.

A man that has characteristics regarded as typical for a woman, or when he has unmanly behaviour.

7.    Pendulum

It’s a weight hung from a fixed point so that it can swing freely, especially a rod with a weight at the end that regulates the mechanism of a clock.

8.    Pretoria

A city in South Africa.

9.     Mountebank

A person who tricks others out of their money, a deceiver.

10. Felicitous:

When something is well-chosen or suited to the circumstances.

11. Anarchy

A state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority or other controlling systems.

12. Lubberly

Big and clumsy or unskilled.

13. Doohickey

A word used when the speaker can’t recall the name of a small gadget or object.

14. Fracas

A noisy disturbance.

15. Juggernaut

Any huge/large powerful or overwhelming destructive force. Like a Rugby team or battle ship.

16. Bedlam

A scene or state of uproar and confusion.

17. Dipthong

A sound formed by the combination of two vowels in a single syllable, in which the sound begins as one vowel and moves toward another.

18. Calamity

An event causing great misfortune or sudden damage – a disaster.

19. Cryptozoology

The study and search of animals whose existence has remained unproven, like the Loch Ness monster or the Yeti.

20. Guffaw

This word is literally the meaning of LOL (A loud, unrestrained burst of laughter).
