There are several places worth visiting to make your holiday an unforgettable one. Where will you go?

Sanya

What could be better than the beach at Christmas?! If you want to get away from the cold weather, head to Sanya and soak up the sun in what they call the “Hawaii of China”.

2. Harbin

The ultimate snowy dream! If you have not yet been to the Ice and Snow festival in Harbin, now is the time to visit.

Eat hot pot in an ice house

3. Guilin and Yangshuo

Guilin is beautiful all year round, but really stunning in winter with frosty mornings and snowy mountain tops. December is the driest month so rain won’t be an issue. Make sure you take warm clothing!

4. Beijing and The Great Wall

Visit the Great Wall in winter. Although it’s cold and you have to wrap up with several layers, it’ll be beautiful viewing the Great Wall surrounded by snow.

5. Changbaishan

Do you love skiing? Why not visit Changbaishan in Jilin Province.
